The Sloop Inn, Kingskerswell

This place is close to where I live. It is cheap food, fairly decent play area. Plenty of space and fast, if not always friendly, service. You get what you pay for but I have never had a "bad" meal. If you want something more fancy then try the Hare and Hounds down the road but this is pub grub at it's finest.!!

The Harbour Inn, Axmouth

I visited this pub with my family including son (3). We had a very good meal on a beautiful day. The play area wasn't brilliant but it was away from the rest of the diners and meant we could eat and watch the kids at the same time. The service was fast, given that it was a Saturday afternoon and they were fairly busy.
