Farmers Arms, Liverpool

Just moved into the area with my wife, and was instantly warned against going near the place by neighbours, but with the local Weatherspoons being closed for a few days and no place to go for a sunday roast, we reluctantly gave it a try.

It turns out our neighbours got it wrong, their opinions on the pub seemed to be from a long time ago, as when we went it turned out to be one of the most friendliest pubs we've ever entered. Well priced beer (�1.70 Carlsberg) and Rose wine for the missus (�8.70 a bottle) seemed a steal. The food was exception with a variety of meals to choose from, espcially for fussy eaters like ourselves.

Overall the atmosphere was terrific, and we now consider ourselves regulars. Staff are great too, and special mention to the landlord who's really turned this pub around by the looks of things, a must visit.
