Red Lion, Great Offley

Have been here three times on business from Colchester. The only reason why this pub is probably in the good beer guide is for it's food, it's extremely good grub, good menu and not to bad drinks wise. Which is let down by the bar staff that haven't got a clue what their doing I've always had food and a soft drink. All the landlady seems to do is drink while customers wait to be served by bar staff who couldn't serve in a game of tennis!

Such a shame that Andy the Landlord is no longer there top bloke, still boarded up I believe, not been in since Andy went. Was a brilliant pub, good home made food, good selection of ale & lager!
