The White Lion, Norwich

Excellent Excellent Excellent! Fabulous food at bargain prices, the pork belly was fantastic, Sunday roast was the tastiest and best value roast I've had since 2005, that is serious. Try the black pudding if you get a chance.

Staff are friendly, clientle are friendly, beer garden is a cosy little place for a quick ciggie. Clean tiolets, nice billiards table, darts and daily newspapers, books to read and piano to play. And to top it all off, fantastic tasting, pristinely kept real ales of all tastes and shades (nice ciders too).

If you go to Norwich you should make the time to visit. 9 out of 10 from me (and I don't give 10's)

The Eagle, Cambridge

This is a tourist pub, that is an average pub, that is probably not worth the trouble unless you like faceless places without atmosphere (literatly, it gets very hot crowded and sweaty inside). Although it does have a nice courtyard to sit in.

The Mitre, Cambridge

Completely average chainesque pub. Good for cheap fast food. Nice cider selection
