The Birkbeck Tavern, Leyton
The worst landlady and bar staff I have ever come across!
Ordered three pints of Clarke's Classic Blonde, all of which came up completely cloudy. On querying it the barmaid said it was a new barrel and perfectly ok and that as a real ale drinker I should know that! The landlady then confirmed that the beers were fine and that they wouldn't change them (even though I hadn't asked for them to be changed).
I can only ask fellow real ale fans to boycott this establishment which has gone down dramatically in recent times.
