The Warren, Hounslow

This is the nearest pub to where I live and went there a few months back with three mates on a Friday night...
There was a disco advertised for later in the evening but the place was dead and, as we were the only ones in there, we decided to play pool. Half-way through our game, the table lights went out and the jumped up little prick behind the bar refused to turn them back on until we finished our game as, 'the disco starts at eight'. Fair enough but we were still the ONLY ones in there and he could have told us that before giving us change for the game!
I wouldn't go back in there if I was dying for a piss.

The Admiral Nelson, Whitton

This is the best pub in Hounslow/Whitton that I've been to but that's not so hard when so many of the others are complete dives, serving rank pints to chav scum...
Prior to the smoking ban, I always found it a lively, friendly place with 'music' on at the weekends. Post smoking ban and it seems to have died a bit of a death which is a shame.

The North Star, Hounslow

I'd always given this pub a wide berth as I'd heard that it was a trouble pub but I recently went along to a Ska night and had a great time.
Been back on a Friday night twice since and, sadly, it was totally empty - the beer was nasty as well and the whole place looks a bit worn out.
