Not an alcoholic. Just a guy enjoying life and burning candles at both ends and in the middle. Favourite drinks - Real Ale, Vodka lemonade and lots ice (cools me down!) Bushmills and Jamesons.

Brannigans, Reading
Lot of criticism here some of which I agree with. But the re-opening of Brannigans after the adpatations was first class. The staff were all well mannered ( including the Doormen that night or I would not have got in!) and the effort made by the rest of the staff - Tuxedo's making the place a little up market. And a lot of the lasses left their wide belts at home and replaced them with cocktail dresses and , yes, I saw a couple of evening gowns too.
Well, they wanted to be one up on the Toon's Bigg Market establishments!
As for the floor - well dance floors were not intended for trainers and you can always bring your own "gloss" to spread or rollerskates ( get away with that?)! Just as good a floor as the Reflex up by the Tower.
