The Red Lion, Shirley

Having lived in Shirley for 19 years before departing to London to complete my studies i return to Shirley occasionaly and when i do i ensure that if i'm lucky enough to go to a pub then i make it the red lion. Fantastic selection of beers and proper bar staff who'll hold a proper conversation with you. Beer prices that i think are reasonable. I think the only thing letting the place down is the way it looks from the outside. However Shirley is a such a miss match of buildings anyway it's hardly out of place with other ugly buildings. Anyway it's the inside that counts and in Shirley there is no greater.
