there will also be a selection of fullers bottled beers behind the bar probably including Honeydew, 1845, Bengal Lancer & London Porter

The Wheatsheaf, Slough

id 2nd everything that pintofhsb has said.
best pub in the town by a country mile
the pride and esb are always in tip top condition, and now the landlordoffers a continuing range of fullers seasonal beers as a guest (id still like to see fullers let him off the leash so that we can get more variety of guest in there) theres something for everyone.
the bottled beers and even more depth to the beer available, and there really is a nice whiskey selection too.
with ambitious plans from the landlord (with the regulars chipping in) too expand the choice of beers available in the now regular 3 beer festivals a year, the place can only go from strength to strength.
i'll be pushing my local branch of CAMRA very hard to get the pub recognised in the guide, as its only hindrance is its tie to fullers limiting the choice.

but if your looking for a great pint in great company, you wont go far wrong with this place
