Jolly Butchers, Stoke Newington

Waited over an hour for a very disappointing, luke warm Sunday roast. Ok, the manager tried to make things right by offering me a free drink and a hot replacement for the meal but I doubt I'll bother again. A sad introduction to Sunday roasts for my American friend....

The Rose and Crown, Stoke Newington

I used to love this pub when Mabel ran it. The pub quiz used to be brilliant! Nowadays - forget it.. The quizmaster is full of himself ('it's your own time you're wasting' - knob!) and the place has lost all it's charm. I for one won't be going back!
