The Waggon and Horses, Hartley Wintney

This was our 2nd visit and we are still not impressed by this pub. We are fans of real ale, but unfortunately not of Courage. The only other available real ale was average. Have been spoilt by an abundance of Real Ale Pubs in Somerset, since moving to Hampshire, the local pubs just do not come up to the same standard. They are all average except for the Anchor at Lower Froyle which has some class. The food at the Waggon and Horses is average as well, basically everything comes with heaps of chips unless you go for sandwiches or baguettes. Cod and chips (Cod is not fresh but processed fillet so you might as well buy it yourself from the supermarket and save yourself �7.50). Lastly what ever you do, don't expect to pay by Credit Card they only accpet Cash, which wasn't apparent before we ordered.
