The Adam and Eve, Mill Hill

no longer a pub, but most definitely a gastropub/restaurant type place with the usual makeover. ale very well kept but food has been hit or miss and yes as other have said overpriced. comments about the 4x4 crowd are on the mark. to be fair the times i've been here the food menu has been different so maybe they are trying out new things to get it right, there's pizza now if i'm not mistaken? still fine for a drink but as i say its not really a pub any more.

Dignity (Taylors of Finchley), Finchley

used to work nearby so have been here a fair few times. as others have said its a bit soulless and doesnt really have a lot of character BUT i've rarely had a badly kept pint. staff nice, friendly. closest pub to the station i think so useful in that way.

Ye Olde Monken Holt, Barnet

in the last few months this place has really gone down the shitter. they've lost their chef, one of their barmaids and a fair few punters if my last few visits were anything to go by. midweek it's like a morgue! staff are scruffy and unproffessional and the last few times the ale hasnt tasted right. a shame, because it was really good. one to avoid from now on.
