The Anglers, Teddington

Everytime my mates say "lets meet up at the Anglers"
I think why not, it can't be that bad.
But than i'm reminded how shocking it is, it's not a pub, i don't know what to call it.
The Bar staff are rude and bitter (because they work there i suppose) just waiting for everyone to leave. how hard is it to smile once in a while!!

And as for RyanJones2006, you're talking bollocks mate!!!! you must work there! they're not friendly and the pool tables are crap and expensive!

Miss this pub at all costs, Go round the corner to the Tide End instead! friendly bar staff warm atmosphere and no idiots!

The Swan, Hampton Wick

Well i love the pub, the barmaids are all friendly and the beer is good (got to love the Oronjeboum). amazing atmosphere during major sporting events, including the the World Cup, the pub was bangin, mostly thanx to me and the lads and of course all the fantastic locals, that remain loyal customers to the one and only decent pub, left in the area!
If a lively night isn't your cup of tea, then you can always visit The Swan on a week day, where it's calm and relaxed. it has one of the best pool tables around which is free thursday nights.

Cheers to The Swan for staying strong, and not leaving us with having to resort to 'Student Bars'. unfriendly welcome awaits you from cocky barman/barmaids just waiting for you to part with your money and get the hell out!
