The Flying Bull, Rake

Under new management since mid 2007. Very friendly landlords and staff. This is a Marston pub with great beers, Banks' Original to name one and often has specials. Recently had Jennings Cumberland Ale (one of my favourites). Good honest pub food, great beer battered cod with excellent chips (beats all the fish & chip shops locally). Ocasionally has special themed food events (Steak evenings, Speciality Sausages etc). Great fun watching the hot air balloons leave from their field behind the pub on summer evenings.
