Yes, it's a great boozer, yes, great ales; great ambience - great selection of whiskies and since yer not sure, the reason why it still only commands a 6.5 rating is directly on account of its seemingly rigid policy of employing puckermouthed, supercilious and offish bar staff - obviously meticulously trained by the pub's tenant - who seems to think that all the above plaudits is doing you favour enough. For this forum's information, the "In Der Wilderman" in Amsterdam is equally as obliging.
