The Lancashire Fold, Middleton

The Lancashire fold is a really nice pub. The staff are friendly. It has had a refurb in June 05 - Still looks brand new. Food is value for money, Carvery is only �5.95 and food served 12-7. Disabled /baby changing facilities available. This pub has a large function room, the biggest vault i have ever seen, With Sky its a man u / man c pub. 1 pool table, 1 dart board, No smoking area in the lounge. A quiz twice a week brings lots of people in. Always very busy. This is a must visit pub!!

Stocks Hotel, Walkden

This pub has changed over the last 12 months, It still has its weird but wonderfull customers. Not as good as it used to be. Had a small refurb in May 05 and put pool tables in the dining area (Didnt work). Entertainment has changed (Feels like your in a club not a pub)The brewery seriously need to change the current management cause this pub has been ran down, right into the ground. The Food is really cheap - but you only have to look at the cook and standards to explain why. Used to be great - Good home cooked grub, Great 80s music, nice pub. SORRY BUT NOT ANY MORE.
