The Carpenters Arms, Coed-y-Paen

Best Sunday lunch I've eaten in years, we popped in and we're lucky to get a table that someone had just left. Pub seems to be having a lot of building work done but the food was still superb. Crunchy roasties, lots of tender beef, huge yorkie and delicious gravy. Butty Bach beer was spot on and my wife loved the real ginger beer. Certainly worth a visit.
