The Stanhope Arms, Kensington

I live quite nearby, and wouldn't reccommend the Stanhope. There is a limited selection of fairly tasteless beer; quite a rowdy sports pub. The Hereford Arms (2 mins down Glos Rd) is much nicer.

The Hereford Arms, South Kensington

It's a nice little boozer, and the ale's far superior to the Stanhope up the road. Worth the extra walk from the station. It's a great place for visitors, because it's got a good "English pub" feel about the place.

btw, Ian - I am also a student at nearby Imperial College, and it's my local!
