awful ale, really after 3 different halfs none even average with JPH present then nothing but bad all round!
Should be avoided and instead visit the true ale fan's welcome at Crown and Kettle with non-rip off prices and higher standard.
almost got annoyed in here tonight!! twas that bad.

The Q Bar, Stalybridge

dissappointing to see so many punters travel here for Monday night 'Quack' by car when there's a fully functioning Railway Station next door operating to most areas 'til late and a Bus Station one minute the other direction.
Also why is there so many people watching the 'footie' on the telly when we have so much local talent playin' live music for you.

The White Hart, Mottram

Cuban restuarant has sadly gone along with the old regulars who I used to meet here when planning 'Stop the Bypass' and other eco campaigns.
Completely new pub really with fancy carpets and decor, The old landlord was a ale expert and had lots of various beers available, that's all gone too, it's lost a lot of it's appeal and they seem to be targeting the well-to-do Mottram set with not much success.
