The Ferry Inn, Cawood
We had a fantastic experience -- a great welcome, top beer (a guest ale from the Ossett brewery...and got to sample the other one too), and some of the best pub food I've ever had. Lovely beer garden with views over the River Ouse.
I counted 23 main courses, including specials and Sunday roasts. 5 varied vegetarian options. And luckily managed to find room for a delightful dessert. Excellent. And a perfect distance from York to cycle to (via Naburn and Stillingfleet).
Can't wait to go back there.
