The Commodore Hotel, Bournemouth

Found this to a very comfortable pub to spend a sunny afternoon in and I've got no real complaints (ceiling was a bit nicotiney though - could do with a lick and polish).

We had food and it was delicious - though I did have the gammon which as the previous reviewers have mentioned was possibly a wise choice (not micro friendly).

Found the locals to be very welcoming and the staff very friendly.

The Grove Tavern, Southbourne

I alwayshave a pint here whenever I'm in Southbourne and I've never once felt like an outsider. I've always found the beer to be good and the atmosphere fine (though admittedly I've never been in on a match night).

No complaints from me at all - a great pub.

Oh and I hope that wino asking for bus fare wasn'nt my dad , as he's a local there lol.
