Gathering place for local yoof (and those old enough to know better), staging post for entrance to the horrid-looking wine-bar/club a few doors down. Lovely old building, smart interior, soulless lager-lad vibe.

Hare and Hounds, Glossop

Lovely old building (17th-18th C?) in a lovely spot with good views over the surrounding country. Unfortunately this pub serves an area populated by Kevin & Sally Webster's more snooty cousins, thus the tone inside is one of charmless front.
