The Trinity Arms, Brixton

I visited on Tuesday night on route to the Academy and must say what a find, it had a great local feel and was quite buzzy with a few eccentric regulars and pre gig diners & drinkers, Meantime's Sundown was the guest & perfectly kept it was too! I must say how impressed I was by the two young ladies running the bar, they were great, friendly & attentive in a quiet and reassuring way.....they just got on with it, customer care was clearly top of their list and it should, we felt well looked after and will definitely return next time we're in Brixton, Well done The Trinity Arms a perfect 10

The Harp, Covent Garden

I love this pub and it's excellent Hophead Ale........a blast from the past with it's old school standards and offering, long may it continue !

The Hand and Spear, Weybridge

Visited this pub 08/01/2010 which was a Saturday night and left feeling let down......this used to be a great place in the early 90's but despite Young's efforts and great expense remains a shadow of it's former glory......!
Service was slow and indifferent......bar prices are high and atmosphere was distinctly edgy with a complete drunk talking S*** at the bar and two utterly laughable meatheads parading around supposedly offering security....it somehow displays a arrogance about itself, no welcome or friendliness @ all.......this is not a one off as a lunchtime visit before Christmas evidenced.....shame really as the pub should be something special.
