The Royal George, Euston

I drank here recently, it was the first Saturday night of 2010, looking for a place to eat with some beer. The outside looks okay, the inside was kind of typical British pub, quite attractive and old-fashioned (in a good way).
I ordered the cod and chips with minted mushy peas, and a Reinbeer Ale. Both were delicious and the dinner was one of the best fish and chips I have ever had.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
I recommend this if you are in the area and hungry or just want a nice beer. They had a large screen for watching football, and the football crowd were well-behaved and quiet from where I was sitting at the other end of the pub.
