The Three Tuns, Cowlinge
This pub is a traditional house, sixteenth century oak beamed bar with open fire and real ale in a tankard if this what you like. But the real feature is the home cooking provided by one of the proprietors Susan Smith; Chris Smith provides the ale. Always ask what has been cooked on the day. One day it’s steak pie another fish pie, etc. It really is very good food at modest prices.
I was there for lunch on Sunday last and it would be hard to beat for a traditional meal followed by home made apple pie for less than £10.
