The Dog and Duck, Kings Clipstone

Horrendous little pub. Looks really nice outside so boy was we in for a shock when we walked in. Assuming they was going for a tarts boudoir look � well they almost achieved it, looks VERY tacky. Had one drink then left, will not return.

Larch Farm, Ravenshead

amazing pub, sunday dinners are fantastic - kids portions are huge though! Best to book a table on a sunday though as can get extremely busy.

Nice decor - always spend ages having a look around when we visit!

The Copper Beech, Newark

avoid at all costs. Just been took over after previous owner went bankrupt. Went there for sunday dinner - never again. Meal was cheap so shouldnt of expected much but got 1 ice cream scoop of smash (SMASH!) 1 roasty and a ton of sprouts! slices of beef was very poor cut.

Would much rather not drink, get in car and drive to Larch farm!
