The George, Oundle

As the last update was now 2 years ago, thought I would post something.

I admit I am a regular at the pub - it is 3 minutes walk from my house and mainly go to watch Football on the Sky there, however, if I didn't like it then I would go a bit further into Oundle to The Ship to watch Sky there.

The landlord and landlady are a lovely couple and have always made me feel welcome. I enjoy hanging out there and have made good friends with plenty of the locals. Often come in to play Skittles on the table on Thursday nights.

Only problem is the beer is now quite expensive, but the same can be said for The Ship - it is largely because we are in tough times economically and for The George, they are far out from town, so, I guess have to to make ends meet. Generally a lovely place though imo.
