The Commercial, Herne Hill

Frequent users of the pub, a group of us went in on Sunday, 27 May, bank holiday weekend and the assistant manager refused to serve us as she said one of the lads was a bit noisy, there was no swearing, no abuse, just a happy person out enjoying himself. Eventually, after 10 minutes she decided to serve us. Perhaps we weren't so noisy after all, but no doubt she was clocking up the $$$$$ signs (there were 15 of us and we were all going to leave). I think she may be better off getting a job in the local LIBRARY, she is certainly in the wrong business if she doesn't like noise.
