It's amazing all these bad reviews, yet every one of you still drinks in my pub. I work extremely hard to make the pub friendly to ALL customers whether you drink ales on a Sunday evening or are meeting your friends before you go to another town for your evening out.
Mr Healy your comment about being barred is incorrect, I have in fact barred 6 people since I�ve been back. All of these barrings are based on violence or abusive behaviour to my staff of other customers. In fact John and Sarah (The managers I trained with) barred more people on a weekly basis than I have in the 4 months that I have been back.
A Comment from Makavelli about the number of ales on offer, we have 4 standard ales and at least 3 ales on at any one time. The only reason why we have cut it down from 4 guest ales is that we have to sell Green King IPA (Soon to be Green King Ruddles) at 99p and as such our over ales have suffered slightly. So for reason of quality I made the decision to cut it down. By the way we only sell 5 draught lagers.
As for people not seeing me, I believe this is directed at the fact that I don�t work Sunday�s. This is because I have a family and therefore spend Sundays with my pregnant wife and our 2 � year son. So I apologise if I�m not around on Sundays, but, if you want to see me work come in at any time of the week and I�ll have a chat with you. Just remember the pub is open for 15hrs a week and I can�t be there all the time.
