The Outback Volunteer, Aldershot

This pub is still closed, nothing in its place. Used to be great though. I recommend the Golden Lion down the road.

The Golden Lion, Aldershot

I was passing through Aldershot when I stopped at the Golden Lion for a pint or two. I went in around lunchtime and saw they had a menu of meals for �2. In this time of hardship those prices were hard to beat, so I tucked into a lovely jacket potato and went on my merry. I have revisited the pub a couple of times since and they still do the menu, and the staff are always happy to please. Great pub, great food, and all the footy you could wish for.
