The Cock and Hoop, Nottingham

Can't comment on the food as we didn't get a chance to eat. Firstly we were told on the the telephone to come at any time as there was only two of us it wouldn't be a problem. When we did arrive at 8.30pm we were told to go away and come back in an hour by a very rude woman. When we did return, an extremely unpleasant bouncer told us to go and stand by the bar, to see if we could be allowed to eat, at this point we walked away in disgust. Worst experience I've ever had in all the years of going to Nottinghams pubs and restaurants - stuffy, rude and completely lacking in any understanding of customer service.
