Priory Marina, Bedford

Went there a couple of weeks ago - against my better judgement. There were 7 of us, it was a Sunday evening about 5pm and the restaurant was quiet. Ordered some starters and they arrived promptly - then it all went down hill. We waited nearly an hour for the main courses and when they arrived they were cold. The waitress informed us they had been sitting on the side for about 45 mins whilst she waited for the 'chef' to finish the order. The meals were sent back and recooked but were just as bad second time. The Manager must be so used to complaints that he didn't even argue when we refused to pay for their attempts at food. I didn't think this place could get any worse but it certainly has !!

Falcon Inn, Bletsoe

Lovely location with the beautiful old building and river closeby. Been here many times and have always found the food to be a bit hit and miss. Sometimes it is absolutely superb and then the next it is less than average. Would agree that it is expensive.
