Bank Tavern, Keswick

Great pub, one of the ones we regularly visit when we're staying in Keswick. Good range of beer and decent food. As others have said, it's a bit more expensive than the 'Wetherspoons' type pub but its about par with the others in the Town. Gets quite busy on an evening though and you can feel a bit squashed in but worth it IMO.

The Oddfellows Arms, Keswick

Great pub, cheap and cheerful. Food is okay - might not be the poshest around but its good value and does the job. Beer is well kept and includes the excellent Jennings range. To the guy with the sparkler issue - as you say, its your choice if you wish to buy flat beer, but to suggest they are just serving beer with a head to get more pints from a barrel is crazy - flat beer is wrong, it should have a head and most (if not all) northern drinkers will agree with this.

The Black Swan, Leyburn

It's a great little pub in the centre of Leyburn. The Irish landlord is a right character and very friendly & helpful. The food is very good pub food, big portions and well priced. We were staying just outside Leyburn for a week and we went back here three times for food. Would recommend it.
