Depends what your looking for mate. It's one of the last genuine pubs around that's not full of fake plants, mirrors and teenagers!!!. The extraction qualites of the chimney does leave something to be desired but we can cope and generally ask the very nice bar staff to turn the heating up and turn the fire down!!. If you mean there are too many smokers, please move on and drink somewhere else. Nice beer, nice staff and friendly punters. Not many places like that around here. Plus there's the easy pickings of taking the p*ss out of Simon, the last remaining Portsmouth fan who actually believes there gonna stay up (looks like shrek if your in doubt)
