Having visited this friendly pub on several occasions I am never disappointed by the wonderfully kept ales and welcoming staff. The regulars are always willing to engage in varied and lively conversation and the recent redecoration has added to the relaxed ambience. A great place to spend an evening.

What is going on? This used to be a great place for real ale. The last two occasions I visited there was hardly anything on and it didn't taste particularly good either. The barmaid was stroppy too. Just lost a cusomer I'm afraid.
