What's the matter? Can't anyone take a joke?
First impressions can be misleading. O.K. the American Bar at the Savoy it's not but what this pub does have is genuine local character. Unlike the Falcon, Yates's and all the boring soulless places in Northcote Road.
Since the arrival of the excellent Australian Manager and his trusty Irish sidekick the place has led me astray on many occassions. Particular highlights are cheap beer, fiercely competitive pool and observing the locals whilst Chelsea are on the big screen.
