The Tulse Hill Tavern, Tulse Hill

I decided to visit the Tulse hill tavern In march. My first impression of the pub was not good and from there it only got worse and worse. After walking through the door I was applauded by the smell of the pub (It was the smell of what I would imagine a dead body to smell like), I decided to stay despite the smell and have a drink and this was my first mistake. The manager of the pub (A small man with serious attitude problem) greeted me with what I would only describe as a look of hatred and this look was shared by the other customers of the pub I would assume these were the regulars he then grunted at me what would I like and took my money he then returned to the side of the bar he was at when I entered the pub and continued to flirt with a young blond woman. I was ignored after my few attempts to make conversation so I decided to drink up and leave however I stayed because I had to meet a friend

After that the manager then walked off to talk to a young woman with black hair (probably his daughter) and continued to ignore the customers. After he returned he continued to scratch at his crouch ignoring the customers I finally had enough when my glass had been empty for over 15 minuets and i was still being ignored it was obvious I was not welcome.

overall this pub really lets itself down their is so much potential for this place but the rude ignorant excuse for a manager is clearly making no attempt to fix the pub. So I personally will go somewhere else to drink and let the man neglect his job I wont be returning so long as it is under the current management.

finally I do not like giving a review without a positive so the only positive I can think of for the Tulse hill tavern is that it sells alcohol. If you want a drink I suggest buying it from a local shop and drink at home or go somewhere else.
