This Pub is caleed the Inn with the WELL, due to the fact that there is a deep well just inside the door.

Good Beer, good food,in both value and quality nice place to stop for a while.

The Cross Guns, Avoncliff

Visited as part of a group on 27th March, the Landlord was unwelcoming and the food was expensive but poor quality, beer undrinkable, suspect cleaning fluid in pipes, glasses dirty. Garden very untidy and crowded with tables. rated one only for location, beware if visiting the area.
