All Bar One, Covent Garden

Bright and airy like all the AB1's but has gone downhill in the last couple of years, with poor service and iffy food. Friend of mine had the chicken sandwich in this one and spent 2 days in hospital with salmonella.

The Duke of Connaught, Windsor

Nice pub with friendly locals and their dogs. Decent beer and usually a nice atmosphere but it would be even better if they put the comfy sofas back. Sunday pub quiz can be a bit intrusive, but it gets the punters in I guess!

The Vansittart Arms, Windsor

Used to be a great pub, went downhill, and on the way back up under the new landlord. Definitely worth a visit.
