The Bridge End Inn, Crickhowell

Turns out it wasn't a bad day as i went to this pub last weekend and every member of staff was not just miserable but rude. The look the landlady gave me because my foot was sticking out an inch under the table was practically a scowl. The bold barman just ignored us and then kept sighing every time we asked for anything extra.Why you would work with the public if you don't like them I have no idea. Just don't bother with this miserable lot. And the food is poor.

The White Lion, Bourton

Beer is always well kept and the staff are always very pleasent. The food is usually very good but stay away from the fish courses as not always that fresh. That said they probably do the best sunday lunch around by a mile

The Scott Arms, Kingston

Another centuries old pub that's had the guts ripped out of it and turned in to an Ikea show room. Unfortunately the pub looks dated already and the food is way to expensive for what it is. Also a word of caution for those of you with a short temper. If you see a middle aged long haired brunette behind the bar just walk straight back out as she is possibly the rudest woman I have ever encountered behind a bar. She was also the talk of the garden as the next 4 families that left the building all commented on her attitude problem. If you hate people that much why would you work in a pub. On the plus side I dont have to wake up to her every morning.
