The Red Lion, Chobham

This is one of the best run pubs in the area. John the landlord has got it right. sunday lunch is excellent. staff friendly. and some great live music on fridays with a fantastic atmosphere.although i have only seen Frayed Not and Famous Five who play once a month there.check it out.

The Saddlers Arms, Ripley

Been going to open mic night now for some time every other monday and live music night on thurdays. got to know the locals and musicians that get in there, and must say have had a ball. Very friendly pub,music great. Only eaten here once or twice but was very good.one of my favourite friendliest pubs.

The Anchor, Ripley

Saw a live band here last saturday. had a great time. the landlord Mark and his wife were so hospitable. the Thai food excellent.beer great. atmosphere brilliant, what can I say. Been here before and was impressed then too. Quite a mix of people, had heard somewhere that the pub could be a bit of a rough house but this was before the new landlords took over and they have done a brilliant job.hope they keep it up.
