The Wheatsheaf, Tooting Bec

When the new owners first took over we loved the place � the beer was good (still is) and the atmosphere friendly and efficient. The run down furniture was quirky but did not detract from the enjoyment, it was a pleasant place to go for a chat and several drinks. Unfortunately there is a rougher type of clientele coming in and the music has become so loud you cannot converse without shouting and so, sadly, I have had to give a lowish star rating. Hopefully the rough element will be discouraged when (eventually) food is served and the music turned down. We still go in for what is a very good pint (of Sussex especially) but if the atmosphere and noise levels don�t change we shall even have to forego that.
