Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm the new landlady at The Moathouse and have been reading your comments & postings with interest. Obviously it's disappointing to see so many negatives, but the feedback is really useful, so please, when you're in, ask to see me, so I can take on board specifics about what you feel is wrong and exactly how in your eyes we can put things right.
No we haven't gone out of business, we are currently closed on Sundays, as were the previous owners and yes in January we reduced our trading times to ensure the viability of a difficult trading month, in addition I took the staff off to breweries, suppliers etc for product quality training in preparation for the new stocklist.
But you're right, atmosphere isn't something I can create by decor or the fabulous new range of spirits and wines, we need you the customer to enjoy coming in and feel we are giving you good service, good value and a good time. So, once again, I welcone you to call in, have a drink and a chat and I hope we'll be able to make things better.
