The Bull Inn, Linton

�Service with a sneer�
The attitude of the staff in the Bull is so appalling, I don�t quite know where to start.. I used to go in the Bull years ago but unfortunately, the change in management has spoilt a beautiful pub. I stopped eating here after encountering 2 of the rudest and most hostile staff I�ve ever had the misfortune to meet (and I think they were in charge!..). I ordered a steak & caramelised onion sandwich which was grisle not steak and raw onion�as no one asked us if the food was ok, I had to walk to the bar to ask for an alternative, which was met with a scowl and silence!�
I will now only go in the Bull for a drink with friends and the staff�s attitude to customers has now become a standing joke- on every occasion we have been there for a drink and a chat, we have sat in disbelief at the way they speak customers, loudly talk about customers and agrue amongst themselves infront of customers.
Today, the girl who is usually barking at customers, said very agressively to a man across the bar, �have you just sat yourselves down at a table? you can�t do that!� because he had dared to find himself a table when there were no staff around to seat him� and then loudly discussed the �outrage� with another member of staff! Sadly, they seem completely unaware that their attitude to customer service is up there with Basil Fawlty and their behaviour is completely unprofessional. There are only 2 reasons why this pub still as any customers, 1. the pub is beautiful with fantastic views 2. the carvery is popular.
Do remember if you go there that THEY are doing YOU a favour and make sure you follow the orders of the little Hitlers that work there�
