The Lord Nelson, Ipswich

Booked meal at Lord Nelson 3rd August 2013. Very disappointed with the quality of the food. Pork Loin tough, lasagne barely hot, gravy for lamb hock like jelly. When we asked if we could order a couple of additional starters when told bluntly No too busy - pub at the time half empty.

Four members of our party waited a good ten minutes after the rest of the party were served with the main course. Waiting staff did not enquire if everything was in order or if we required anything. Also despite several members of the party leaving a good part of their meals waiting staff never asked if there was a problem. Choice of deserts very limited so we didn't bother.

Not the worst pub meal we have ever had but very close to it. Would not recommend to anyone
