The Ropemakers, Bridport

I have posted before but can confirm nothing has changed here. Still a great community pub offering the entire Palmers range of ales. Bar staff are friendly and families/dogs welcome.

The Market House, Bridport

Smart eaterie/bar in centre of town. I have not eaten there but I heard good reviews. Sadly, this pub just doesn't seem to be getting the footfall. It is pricey and drinkers are probably being attracted to the new craft beer bar next door which serves 6 regularly changing beers.

Good as ever. Beers always on top form and the new kitchen means meals are served quicker. Bar staff are excellent - special mention to Pabs, Lucy, James, Lesley & Mark. Oh, and Andrea! What a real pub should be. John & Geraldine have cracked it with the Ropies!
