The Railway Hotel, Hampton

Just read the blogs about this place, gotta laugh they must be their friends.I hadn't been in the place for about a year but finding myself working in the area thought I would pop in. WELL !!!! gone is the lovely landlady Natalie or Nicky?? Gone is the excellent food, and the seating is so uncomfortable to boot. Never again.

What the heck is going on here now????
Popped in and the great lassy they had running it - Nicky - has gone. It was spotlessly clean and so well managed like it was years ago, but now I see it's gone down again . No atmosphere, dirty loo, dirty glasses, and worse to report NO BEER.I was in last friday , hoping to hear Nickys great music choice the rat pack etc. and have a pleasant few beers a chat to the lovely clientele she built up ... but none of it!!!The music was blaring , jumping and sticking, they ran out of 4 different beers, no manager in sight,a lovely lass called Dannielle did her best the other girl hadn't got a clue. Oh well Jack Beards , you ve done it again, ruined a lovely pub so it's back to the Crown n Sceptre.AGAIN !!!

Wow what a difference a day makes.New landlady (very charming)Spotlessly clean,warm + friendly,very relaxing.I believe they are going to do some sort of menu in the near future.Excellent news.Hope she does well,I like her, she will fit in very nicely with our locals,and I am sure with any newcomers.This is now a very,very nice pub.Good luck Nicola.
