The Glen Isle Inn, Palnackie
This place has been completely refurbished. The staff are friendly and the bar is modern and comfortable with an open fire in the winter. If anything the TV is a bit obtrusive but it can always be turned off.
Drink selection is good, the lunchtime bar food is excellent and I have reports that the evening meal is every bit as good. Well worth a visit to this small village in SW Scotland. You can even get there by boat at High Water!
