Be honest the place is rubbish.

When Alan was the Chef the food was good (He came from Morgans up the road)- lovely Sunday lunch.

However when he left the owners lost interest it would seem. It is usually empty. I didn't know Alan had left and went for a Sunday lunch. Price was up by a pound and it was inedible. Meat I think was from a buffalo - definitely not a proper oven joint. Veg was uncooked and cold. About 4 small roasties. I told the lady it was terrible - she knows me as I've eaten there a number of times. To her credit they didn't charge me.

I don't know if they have another Chef now - it may have improved.

O'Riordans, Brentford

You may be aware that "Captain Morgans" has been bought out and there is a new owner. Bryan & Bernie are still running it. John the owner has done a great many changes one being the large decked area at the back. There are many more planned.

The name has changed too it is now "O'Riordans" - which is what it was called before.

It is still the best pub in Brentford in my opinion - the friendliness is beyond question. I understand that meals will soon be being served again. Good luck to John the new owner and Bryan & Bernie and of course all the regulars.
