Brent Knoll Inn, East Brent

Spent a few hours here yesterday, andvery happy with it. Wadworth George and the Dragon, Tribute and London Pride were all sampled, and the lady who obviously penned the invitation below was very friendly and welcoming as was the young fellah working behind the bar. CAMRA members note 20p per pint discount on real ales. try it. You'll like it.

Nutwell Lodge Hotel, Lympstone

Only GK IPA and Bombardier on offer. Not in bad nick, but a little too cold. Food (carvery) was mediocre. Meat was dried up, roast spuds must've been sitting in oven for a few days (I hadn't ever thought I might moan about potatoes being tough!), cauliflower was raw (!), cabbage was fresh though, carrots were half-cooked,etc, etc.
All in all, not to be risked again.

The Globe Inn, Weymouth

Nice friendly welcome from the keen staff. Very good pint of Proper Job. Visit spoiled by the idiot twat in a hat at the end of the bar who thinks he can sing (He can't!).
